A vex is a new type of mob released in Minecraft. You can cure them by using a Splash Potion of Weakness and a Golden Apple. If a zombie attacks one of your villagers, it will turn them into a zombie villager. Pillagers should be able to climb ladders. This effect will last for ~2 in game days and will give you great discounts on trades, with the discount dependent on the level of the effect. When the Bad Omen effect wears off, the icon and particle effects will disappear. There are three variants, the Vindicator, Evoker, and Illusioner. The Illager is a hostile mob added in Update 1.11. In Bedrock Edition, a pillager raid captain can be spawned using the /summon pillager ~ ~ ~ minecraft:spawn_as_illager_captain command, and a vindicator raid captain can be spawned using /summon vindicator ~ ~ ~ minecraft:spawn_as_illager_captain command. However, they don't attack when they don't have any weapons. Pillagers are armed with crossbows and attack by shooting arrows at nearby players, Iron Golems, villagers, and wandering traders. They just run past the village, kill what they see and then just go to the sea to swim towards the setting sun. The Illager patrols are WAY too frequent AND they never despawn. Because a pillager is a hostile mob, it will attack you in Survival mode but not Creative mode.
